Lisa Thompson

Lisa has more than 20 years of experience in business management, counseling, executive coaching and career consulting. Her skills as a licensed psychotherapist, along with her corporate background, allow her to address both organizational and human development needs in a practical and realistic manner. In her current role as director of professional services, she provides organizational and team assessments, executive coaching and succession planning.

Previously, Lisa was the senior managing director for Spherion's Human Capital Consulting Group in Dallas/Ft. Worth. In this capacity, she provided leadership to one of the most successful and profitable offices nationwide.

Earlier in her career, she worked with Reedie & Co., a premier career consulting firm known for its superior work with senior executives in transition. Lisa held positions as a career consultant and vice president of sales prior to being promoted to managing director. Lisa also managed a successful private counseling practice early in her career where her work included assessments, executive coaching and consulting for individuals and corporate entities.

In addition to her credentials as a licensed professional counselor, she is also certified in numerous evaluation and assessment instruments. She received her bachelor's degree in public relations and marketing from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, and her master's of education degree in counseling and guidance from Texas A&M in Commerce, Texas. She recently completed the graduate certificate program in Executive and Professional Coaching at The University of Texas at Dallas and also achieved Professional Certified Coach certification from the International Coaching Federation. This certification endows her with worldwide recognition for her proven coaching talents.

Lisa is chairman of the board of Attitudes & Attire, a non-profit organization focused on helping disadvantaged women re-enter the workforce. She serves on the expert advisory panel of Human Capital Institute's Next Generation Leadership Development Community. She is also a member of the International Coaching Federation.

Bob Pearson

Robert Pearson is the chief executive officer and founder of both Pearson Partners International and Executive Career Consultants.

Prior to founding Pearson Partners and ECC, Mr. Pearson was the chairman and CEO of LAI Worldwide Inc., the third-largest global recruiting firm. He was instrumental in taking LAI public - the first firm to do so in the recruiting industry. His experience spans more than 25 years in the recruiting field, including experience at Russell Reynolds Associates as the executive director and as the Southwest Managing Partner of Lamalie Associates Inc. in Dallas, Texas, before being elected Chairman and CEO. Following several sizable acquisitions and a large secondary public offering, the company was sold to TMP Worldwide Inc.

Mr. Pearson's early career started with McKinsey & Co. Inc., where he was a senior engagement manager, then with Raymond James and Associates Inc., as vice president, corporate finance. He then ran Pearson Inc., a midsized manufacturing firm in Wisconsin.

Mr. Pearson received a B.S.E.E. from Michigan State University with honors and an M.S. in industrial management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, graduating magna cum laude.
